Varsity Volleyball Team Playing Strong

The Lady Eagles had a busy week playing Porter Gaud and Hanahan High School. The Varsity went 4 sets with Porter Gaud but wasn’t able to extend to a 5th set. Cokey Suddeth led the team with 17 kills.
Cokey Suddeth also led the team with 17 kills against Hanahan while Ava Bowen was second with 6 kills. The Eagles played strong and beat Hanahan in a 3 set sweep. Ana Tyler lead the team with 4 aces and a 100% serving percentage. Reed Jones, Chloe Guyan and Hannah Delaney also had an great serving game with a 100% serving percentage.
This week the Lady Eagles play at home on Tuesday, September 14 against Christian Academy. JV begins at 4 pm, followed by Varsity at 5 pm. The Varsity will also host its second annual Eagle Invitational at PCA this Friday and Saturday. Play will begin at 4:30 pm on Friday evening and continue at 8:30 am on Saturday morning. Come out and support the girls as they host James Island, Phillip Simmons, Fort Dorchester, Cane Bay, Northwood, Pinewood Prep, and First Baptist. It will be a great weekend of volleyball competition! |
Varsity Volleyball Team Competes In Weekend Tournament

The Varsity Volleyball team headed to Wilson Hall on Saturday to compete in a round robin tournament. The Lady Eagles ended the day 5-3. Cokey Suddeth led the team with 30 kills and 13 aces. Bria Olson led the team with assists.
The Varsity team plays at home on Tuesday, August 29 against John Paul II starting at 6 pm. Come out to support the team! Go Eagles! |

Volleyball Teams Prepare To Kick Off Season!

The Volleyball teams had a great first scrimmage against Cane Bay last week. JV won in 3 sets and Varsity won in 2. Cokey Suddeth lead the team with 7 kills and 4 aces, while Saylor Sorensen had the best hitting percentage with 1.000. Chloe Guyan had a 100.0% in serving. And Cokey Suddeth led the team with 10 digs and a 2.22 serve receive rating.
The Middle School team, JV and Varsity teams play at home tomorrow, August 15 against Colleton Prep with Middle School getting us started at 4 pm. Then, our Varsity team only has a match on Wednesday, August 16 at 4:30 pm against Palmetto Scholars. Let's pack the gym, and cheer on our Lady Eagles!!! |
